As a photo major, photo direction is one of my favorite aspects of the creative process. From dreaming up the concept, pulling swipe together to show the overall vision, to planning the photoshoots, and being on-set working with talented photographers and stylists.

Holiday 2020 Campaign
We were at the end of the first year of the global pandemic which made everything more challenging, especially developing a 50+ page catalog. With smaller teams, social distancing, and an extremely minimal budget we were able to execute the catalog utilizing our studio, and some product vendor imagery to create a cohesive holiday vision.

Spring 2019 Wedding Catalog
A mix of lifestyle, environmental, and editorial-style product photography combine for this 60+ page catalog to give a new aesthetic to basic wedding essentials and gifts. Showing the select products in home-like settings helps the viewer relate to and visualize the item as the gift recipient may use it. It shows the use, scale, and how nice it could look when styled in a home. The editorial-style product imagery gives the basic product a very up-to-date look.

Graduation 2021 Campaign
We were almost a year into a global pandemic and parties and social gatherings weren't happening in the same way they used to. With this photo direction, the goal was to show the idea of celebrating with those near and far with the use of a video call at the graduation party. The other product imagery was set up to look as if it was taken in the same scene to help with the cohesive feel.

Valentine's Day 2020 Campaign
This Valentine's Day season we went with a cinematic, moody, and romantic photography aesthetic over using traditional pinks and reds with heart prop accents.
